What are introduction requests?
As mentioned in this FAQ, introduction requests are short messages sent by the interested party that outline why they’re interested and what they have to offer.
You can receive introduction requests from Experteers who are interested in either a specific project that you’ve posted or in your organization as a whole, which you will receive as a message in your dashboard inbox and be notified of via email. This request will include a short message that you can think of as a “preview” of what skills/time the Experteer has to offer. You’ll also be granted access to their profile, so you can evaluate their credentials/message to determine whether you’d like to connect directly to discuss further.
You can also send introduction request to Experteers. On the left-hand side of your dashboard, select the “Recruit Experteers” option from the “Request Support” category, which will bring you to our search page. When you find a professional you’re interested in, you can select the “request introduction” button to send them a direct message which they will evaluate to decide if they’d like to connect with you directly.
