What kind of legal entity is MovingWorlds? Are you a non-profit?
MovingWorlds is legally incorporated as a Social Purpose Corporation, the Washington State equivalent of a benefit corporation. MovingWorlds is also a social enterprise. That means that we are a for-profit that is committed to creating a material positive impact on society and the environment from our business and operations, and in turn reinvest those profits into further scaling the positive impact of our work. It also means our social and environmental mission is locked – so as we grow, partner, etc., we are committed to upholding and continuing to invest in our mission.
